Our Story
RL Events grew from a passion for creating outdoor celebrations worth remembering. Based in Northamptonshire, we started with a single restored horse box bar and built from there.
That love of restoring characterful vehicles became a full-service offering. Today we bring together our horse box bar, professional outdoor cinema equipment, and luxury bell tent glamping and pre-pitched camping — everything needed to create a complete event experience.

Louise Cowell
Louise leads from the front and keeps RL Events moving. As the heart of this family run business, she manages the planning, coordination, and delivery across each event. Louise is hands on from early setup through to pack down, with a focus on the details that make the day feel smooth for guests. She is supported by family and friends across the season.
Jon Cowell
Jon is the engine behind the build. He handles the heavy lifting, site logistics, and practical setup that keeps each event running safely and on time. From loading and transport to positioning equipment and solving problems on site, Jon supports Louise every step of the way. He is usually the first one in and the last one out.
Pete Smith
Pete has been part of the wider family team for 14 years, working across various roles in the family's other businesses. At RL Events he is a steady pair of hands and a familiar face on site. Pete is normally found wherever Jon is, helping with setup, pack down, and whatever needs doing to keep the event moving.
Ciaran Cowell
Ciaran is the eldest son and has been involved in events since he was 14. He has learned the ropes over the years and brings a calm, helpful presence to each job. Ciaran supports across setup and guest facing moments, with a clear focus on customer service. He takes pride in making sure people feel welcomed and looked after.
Georgia Hart
Georgia supports Ciaran across events and is often the friendly first point of contact for guests and visitors. She helps with welcoming, keeping areas presentable, and making sure people know where to go. Georgia brings great energy to the team and helps keep everyone smiling, even when the day is busy.
Stacey Gadke
Stacey brings the glitz and glam to the Noir Bar and helps it look the part at every event. She supports the bar operation, presentation, and guest experience, with an eye for styling and detail. Stacey is a key part of making the bar feel polished and premium, especially for weddings and special celebrations.
Connor Cowell
Connor, like Ciaran, has worked with the family team for years. He is reliable, flexible, and steps into whatever role is needed on the day. From setup support to service and pack down, Connor helps keep things on track behind the scenes. If something needs doing quickly, Connor is usually already on it.
